Yeah and the fact he walked over the bodies & abandoned these people doing absolutely ‘nothing’ to help is atrocious. @ 9 grand a pop, & over $480,000 for that weekend, he should have had an EMS unit standing by. Native American rituals need to be done by people that know what they’re doing. He swears he didn’t construct the lodge, but he lady that owns the property should have known better. If you don’t know, ASK instead of faking it. And he should NOT have been sitting by the door, the putz!

  • dennishalsey1962 says:

If your dinner guests gets choked some bony fish you served and dies, did you commit a crime?

The correct answer is: No, but, criminal charges would be filed by someone needing an accounting for the death, and you would be found guilty of manslaughter, and sentenced to 50 years in prison!

    Dont be ignorant!

    Thanks Moose!

Anyone who exploits Native American spiritual practices for money is going to have a very ugly side. Thanks for your thoughts!

  • tjwalker says:

    I don’t see much difference

  • Forsure3333 says:

James Ray = Jim Jones II

  • Forsure3333 says:

@tjwalker Yeah, but where is he hidding now????!!!

  • tjwalker says:

    Fair points!

After watching James Ray, anyone with an ounce of sense should be able to see this man is a sociopath. All the traits are right there. 1.pathological lying.2.manipulative behavior. 3.superficial charm. 4. Grandiose sense of self importance. I feel sorry for the people who lost their lives and for their families…but, i must speak the truth. These folks for the most part were gullible FOOLS.

  • HisTruthbeUNKOWN says:

That any one can make a statement like that in the 21st century is an example of a complete ignoramous.

It’s people like you that get sucked into this type of sweat-lodge Indian voodoo hocus-pocus nonsense.

Science has NOTHTING to do with faith or religion. Science does not rely on blind obedience to spirits no one has ever seen nor proven to exist.

Science relies on crticial thinking and peer review, not wallet review like these shysters.

  • myanvita says:

    Science is a religion….

  • goldeneaglewarrior says:

You don’t ever involve money with the true sweatlodge,…all it takes is a handful of tobacco! A true Indian would know this and what the lodge is for!! You don’t just put up a lodge and then think you can run it for entertainment!,.. cmon,.. For a guru i am sorry to say he was nowhere near wise to what he was doing with the lodge! It takes years if not a life time to understand the lodge lent to you!!

  • HisTruthbeUNKOWN says:

The real lesson is that religion itself is dangerous. All religion is bad religion and why science & reason must be embraced. Truly a tragedy that was so easy to avoid.

Bullshit Baffles Brains indeed. And empties yer pocket books! Everyone watching this should check out The Baloney Detection Kit……
    It could save your life!

  • itwaschris says:

Yeah and cult who believe they are the reincarnated spirits of the indians of old and talk to space aliens from the Pliedes aren’t limited at all! Skepticism relies on the BEST method of thinking we have – CRITICAL THINKING using your whole brain and allowing for ALL your emotions. Yes or No duality is where religious irrationality begins.

  • dustbunnieboo says:

So why isn’t James Arthur Ray in jail? He really should be. He brainwashed these people and bullied them as much as an est leader or James Jones. He belongs behind bars. I hope they sue him for every cent he ever makes for as long as he lives.

  • okieNDNgurl says:

Indian sweat lodges are for 5-10 people, are NOT co-ed and do not cost ANYTHING!! These greedy people conducting fake Native American ceremonies around Sedona (or anywhere) for money are frauds & should be avoided! You’d never catch an Indian doing any of this crazy stuff !! The same goes for those people around Sedona being buried alive. DON”T LISTEN TO THESE IDIOTS!!!

  • tjwalker says:

Thanks for watching and writing everyone!

  • robshaps says:

For the most part, “The Secret” teachers are scammers obsessed w/ money. Why charge $9,000 for the retreat? That’s a hefty price-tag for enlightenment. ‘Secret’ teachers teach spiritual materialism. They’re obsessed w/ money. Money is not always correlated w/ happiness.
Further, people put ‘Secret’ teachers up on a pedestal and like a cult, your “leader” is never wrong.

  • jollysincere says:

Unfortunately we live in a very shallow world, with people that are more shallow. That is why these NEW AGE GURU’s are allowed to flourish.

  • TJWhitewolf says:

coaches do the same thing, pushing young athletes too far for “their own good”

  • patriciawinston says:

It’s not about skepticism – it’s about discernment.

Skeptics cannot see all sides of an issue. They are limited in their thinking process.

Discernment however takes it all in, and says either yes or no.

Become discerning and like FigurinItOut says, trust your SELF to know where you need to be when you need to be there!

  • FigurinItOut says:

My take on it is this: people need to always maintain their sense of SELF no matter who they listen to, whether it be gurus, teachers, priests, Kahunas, doctors, etc!!!

I’ve followed Wayne Dyer’s work for over 20 years, but you’ll never catch me searching thru his garbage for one of his half-eaten Twinkies!
Sure, I have a shrine erected to the man, but it’s not THAT big! (I’m KIDDING!)
