My take on it is this: people need to always maintain their sense of SELF no matter who they listen to, whether it be gurus, teachers, priests, Kahunas, doctors, etc!!!

I’ve followed Wayne Dyer’s work for over 20 years, but you’ll never catch me searching thru his garbage for one of his half-eaten Twinkies!
Sure, I have a shrine erected to the man, but it’s not THAT big! (I’m KIDDING!)

It’s not about skepticism – it’s about discernment.

Skeptics cannot see all sides of an issue. They are limited in their thinking process.

Discernment however takes it all in, and says either yes or no.

Become discerning and like FigurinItOut says, trust your SELF to know where you need to be when you need to be there!

For the most part, “The Secret” teachers are scammers obsessed w/ money. Why charge $9,000 for the retreat? That’s a hefty price-tag for enlightenment. ‘Secret’ teachers teach spiritual materialism. They’re obsessed w/ money. Money is not always correlated w/ happiness.
Further, people put ‘Secret’ teachers up on a pedestal and like a cult, your “leader” is never wrong.

Indian sweat lodges are for 5-10 people, are NOT co-ed and do not cost ANYTHING!! These greedy people conducting fake Native American ceremonies around Sedona (or anywhere) for money are frauds & should be avoided! You’d never catch an Indian doing any of this crazy stuff !! The same goes for those people around Sedona being buried alive. DON”T LISTEN TO THESE IDIOTS!!!
