People are terrified to speak publicly because they are hyper focused on themselves. It's interesting to me that shy people are often self absorbed people. They don't appear that way on the outside. In fact they appear humble . . . nope just the opposite! All roads lead to them, and that terrifies them. On the other hand, type A people like me seem over confident. Nope, just really passionate about what I'm trying to share with you. Thus, a great public speaker! simple! I agree with Patricia.
