ADM2381: Business Presentation Challenge – Winners Announcement
The winners of the 13th Pearson Business Presentation Challenge associated with the ADM 2381 “Business Communication Skills” course, during the Fall 2008 semester at the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management. The event took place on November 27, 2008. The winners, announced by the courses’ ex-Head Teaching Assistant and now entrepreneur Stephen Mitchell, were Jenni Kay McBeath (1st Place) with her presentation on Buying from Locally Owned Businesses, and HC Zhang (Runner-up) …

Bhavna Bakshi, an International Management student at the University of Ottawa’s Telfer School of Management, finished in the top 5 out of over 150 students in the ADM 2381 “Business Communication Skills” course, during the Fall 2009 semester. Jordan Demeo, a Marketing student at the University of Ottawa, finished in the top 6 out of over 200 students in the ADM 2381 “Business Communication Skills” course, during the Summer 2008 semester. This allowed him to compete in the McGraw Hill Ryerson Business Presentation Challenge on July 31, 2008. Jordan’s presentation concerns bringing the Summer Olympic Games to Ottawa and is titled “Ottawa 2020″.
